Hi Michael,
Nice photos. Can you (or anyone reading this) tell me how much the width of St Kilda beach in front of the surf life savers club changes with the tides?

I'm volunteering for Amnesty International's event on St Kilda Beach this Saturday. We're making a human symbol of a life saving ring on the beach.

At the time of making the human sign the tide will be at 0.5m (halfway between high and low tides). Even a rough guess would help. Thanks in advance!

Here is a link to the event. You should come along!
